RI Magic Skill Development Summer Camp

TIME
Session 1: 8:30am-12pm
Session 2: 1pm-4:30pm
DESCRIPTION
This 4-day skill development camp is open to boys and girls that are committed to working extremely hard to improve their basketball skills. The camp will last 3.5 hours a day and is a great way for players to improve their skills and get ready for fall AAU and their winter seasons. The gym will be open 30 minutes before and after each session for drop off/pick up. At camp, coaches have more time to break down skills and concepts, allowing players to improve their basketball skills in a fun, but competitive environment.
Players will be broken down by grade and skill level. As we get closer to the camp, an email with specific information will be sent regarding which session time your child will be attending. Some highlights of the camp:

Coaching ratio will be no greater than 8:1.

Skill development will be the focus of the camp. Stations and small game situations will be used to teach the basic concepts of basketball.

Players will receive a comprehensive written evaluation as well as a camp workout program they can continue to follow at home to improve.

Players will receive a camp t-shirt.

Gym is air conditioned.
COACHES
We are excited to have our seasoned summer camp coaches back! Coaches Henry Coleman, Justin Tedeschi, Ryan Bonneau and Will Rywolt have all been involved with our summer camp for years and have extensive playing and coaching experience. Joining the team this year is Sebastian Basilio, former RI Magic player with coaching experience as well.
