The Rhode Island Magic began in the fall of 2015 and is longest-running AAU boys program in Rhode Island. The reason for our success and growth is simple. As a program, we know that coaching is one of, if not, the most important factors that parents consider when choosing an AAU program. We have a plethora of talented coaches on our staff with many years of playing and coaching experience at the middle, high school, and collegiate levels. Our knowledgeable coaches are always discussing basketball, attending clinics, and continually developing as coaches. The majority of them coach at the interscholastic level and are USA Basketball Gold Coach Certified as well. The coaches work extremely hard to make sure your child has a rewarding, enjoyable, and educational experience. Our goals as a coaching staff are to create a fun atmosphere in which teammates build camaraderie and develop their basketball skills in a challenging and competitive environment.
 

In addition to an unrivaled coaching staff, we believe players improve their basketball skills by being the gym frequently with quality coaches. All players will have three opportunities each week to be in the gym getting better. Detailed information about our practice schedules can be found HERE.

Rhode Island Magic has programs for boys grades 2 through 12 and girls grades 4 through 12 and tryouts are open to all.
