All RI Magic players must register with AAU once selected on a team. However, AAU registration is not necessary for tryouts. This is both protection for you and the club in case of injury. By registering with AAU, you will be covered by AAU insurance. In order to register for AAU, please follow the steps below.

2. This is a new system, so you will need to create a new username/password to obtain a 2026 membership.

3. Click "Athlete Membership".

4. Click "Get started".

5. This is where you will create you new membership.

6. Click "Add New Athlete".

7. Click "My Child" and fill out the details. Be sure to add our club code so the registration is connected to the Rhode Island Magic. The club code is W37B74.

8. Save Athlete.

9. Click "Next Step".

10. Select Extended Coverage-$24. This covers athletes at all tournaments and practices. 

11. Click "Next Step"

12. Click Agree to Terms and then sign digitally.

13. Click "Next Step".

14. You can then checkout or if you would like your child to have age verification completed for free, you can do that as well. Some tournaments in the spring require age verification, therefore it is beneficial to do it at this time when it is free. 

15. Complete payment and checkout.

16. When completed, print out the AAU card and give a hard copy to your coach.
