All Rhode Island Magic players must register with AAU after being selected to a team. AAU registration is not required for tryouts.

 

AAU membership provides insurance coverage for both the athlete and the club in the event of an injury during practices or tournaments.

Registation Instructions

​

1. Click here to visit the AAU Membership Page and begin the registration process.

2. If you are new to AAU, you will need to create a username and password to obtain a 2026 AAU Membership.

3. Select Athlete Membership.

4. Click Get Started.

5. Create your new membership account.

6. Click Add New Athlete.

7. Select My Child and complete all required information.

8. When prompted, enter the Rhode Island Magic Club Code: W37B74.

9. Click Save Athlete.

10. Click Next Step.

11. Select Extended Coverage ($24). This membership provides coverage for all AAU practices and tournaments.

12. Click Next Step.

13. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and complete the required digital signature.

14. Click Next Step.

15. Before checking out, we strongly recommend completing the free Age Verification process. Many spring tournaments require age verification, and completing it now—while it is free—can save time later.

16. Complete your payment and finish the registration process.

17. Once your membership is complete, print a copy of your child's AAU membership card and provide a hard copy to your coach at the first practice.
