The Rhode Island Magic is committed to developing basketball players both on and off the court. Our mission is to provide a fun, competitive, and educational environment where players improve their individual and team basketball skills while learning the lifelong values of teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, respect, perseverance, and accountability. We believe the lessons learned through basketball help prepare young people for success in school, their careers, and life.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to be New England's premier AAU basketball program by providing exceptional coaching, outstanding player development, and an unmatched experience for every family. We strive to develop confident, skilled, and high-character student-athletes while remaining committed to teaching the game the right way.

 

For our highest-level players, we provide opportunities to compete in elite regional events as a member of the Hoop Group circuit. Players gain meaningful college exposure while receiving guidance throughout the recruiting process from our experienced directors.

• Communicate clearly and consistently with families through our website, social media, email, and direct communication from our coaches and directors.

• Celebrate the accomplishments of our players, coaches, and teams both on and off the court.

• Recruit, develop, and retain an experienced coaching staff that shares our philosophy and commitment to player development.

• Prepare student-athletes for success at the next level, whether that means middle school, high school, college, or beyond.

• Provide our top teams with opportunities to compete in premier regional and national tournaments during NCAA live periods to maximize college exposure.

• Guide interested student-athletes and their families through the college recruiting process, including recruiting education, college selection, admissions guidance, and financial aid resources when appropriate.
