The Rhode Island Magic is the largest and longest-running AAU boys program in Rhode Island. The reason for our success and growth is simple. As a program, we know that coaching is one of, if not, the most important factors that parents consider when choosing an AAU program. We have a plethora of talented, college-educated coaches on our staff with many years of playing and coaching experience at the middle, high school, and collegiate levels. The coaches work extremely hard to make sure your child has a rewarding, enjoyable, and educational experience. Our goals as a coaching staff are to create a fun atmosphere in which teammates build camaraderie and develop their basketball skills in a challenging and competitive environment.

We know there are many choices for AAU basketball in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, and appreciate you taking the time to consider the Rhode Island Magic.

Rhode Island Magic has programs for boys, grades 2 through 12 and girls, grades 6 through 11. Tryouts are open to all. You can register for tryouts

“My son has played with Magic
for 3 years and I cannot say
more positive things about this organization. The quick responses, the transparency, the detailed information, quality players and coaches, etc.”

“Thanks for a great season and for all you do. Desmond and Jaden learned and grew a lot under two awesome coaches. It was really impressive what both Henry and John accomplished in a short time and I'm grateful that both boys had such terrific leadership, coaching and positive influences in their lives.”

“First, I just want to say how incredible the Magic program is. From the constant communication, talented coaching staff, organized structure of practices- I have only positive things to say.”

The Rhode Island Magic’s goal is to help young men and women improve their basketball skills in a fun and competitive environment while also helping them develop lifelong values both on and off the court.
